Liposuction and Fine Tuning

Are you one of those dedicated souls who religiously goes to the gym several times a week?   Do you work your legs  with squats and leg lifts and who knows what else and actually, though you feel much fitter, those pesky inner and outer thighs are still too fat?  That is because we are programmed genetically to carry our fat cells in the specific distribution pattern.   Some of us are apples--some are pears.  Despite what you hear on late night television, there is no exercise to get rid of fat in a specific area.   You may do 10,000 leg lifts a day and not get rid of the fat pad (saddle bag) on your outer thighs.  Inner thighs are even more difficult to trim down.   The muscle underneath may be made of steel, but alas, the fat is still on top.  You can loose weight, but no one can say "I will lose 10 pounds and my saddle bags will go away" if their body is programmed to retain and defend those fat cells on your thighs.  The only way to lose fat pads is to lipo them away.   Throughout our lives, we do not produce more fat cells--as we put on or take off weight they simply fill up or empty out.   A fat cell that has been removed from your body can not fill up with fat.   If you are not overweight, but are close to your ideal weight but still don't have the contour you want, liposuction may be the answer for you.   We have several patients who are extremely fit who have had liposuction to achieve  that contour they want.   A little bit of fat removed from a precise area can make a huge difference in shape.  Get your questions answered.  It may be the solution you've been seeking.
