Is Liposuction Cheating?

Have you been spending huge amounts of time and effort at the gym and still find that those trouble areas that you are battling are still there?  In spite of what you might read on the internet it is impossible to exercise fat away from a specific area.  There are not enough leg lifts in the world to get rid or inner thigh fat deposits if you ae genetically programmed to have them there.  You can strengthen and tone the underlying muscle mass, but you can't just "crunch" way abdominal fat.   If you're at (or close to)  your ideal weight and still have some pesky fat pockets you just can't get rid of you might consider liposuction.   We have had several patients who are fit and spend a lot of time in the gym who have had their saddle bags  liposuctioned and have been thrilled at the result.    You don't have to have a huge problem to benefit from the shaping of lipo.  If you lose 5 pounds no one would even notice, but if you take 5 pounds from your abdomen--WOW!  You ought to consider it.    It's a great cure for frustration.
